Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the services offered by TotalTenantCare. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

TotalTenantCare provides landlord services in Edinburgh, including compliance, maintenance, and cleaning services for rental properties. Our services are subject to these Terms and any additional terms agreed upon in writing.

2. Booking and Payments

  • All bookings must be made through our website, by phone, or by email.
  • Payment is required at the time of booking or as specified in your service agreement.
  • We accept credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and other payment methods as specified during the booking process.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed bookings will be honored at the agreed price.
  • VAT is included in all our prices unless otherwise stated.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled service.
  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost.
  • No-shows or cancellations on the day of service may be charged the full service amount.
  • Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and should be made at least 24 hours in advance.

4. Property Access

You are responsible for ensuring our teams have access to your property at the scheduled time. If we cannot gain access, you may be charged a call-out fee.

5. Service Standards

  • We strive to provide high-quality services that meet industry standards.
  • If you are not satisfied with our service, please notify us within 72 hours, and we will address your concerns.
  • For end of tenancy cleaning, we offer a 72-hour guarantee period for any issues to be reported.
  • Compliance services are performed in accordance with relevant UK regulations and standards.

6. Liability

  • We maintain appropriate insurance for our services.
  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided.
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or wear and tear to your property.
  • We are not liable for any damage caused by hidden defects or abnormal conditions in the property.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to move and protect furniture but are not responsible for damage to fragile or valuable items that have not been secured or removed.

7. Property Preparation

For cleaning services, you are responsible for removing valuable or fragile items and ensuring the property is ready for our service. For maintenance or compliance services, you should provide clear access to relevant areas.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of TotalTenantCare and is protected by UK and international copyright laws.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. We may terminate our services if you breach these Terms or if payment fails.

10. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
